President Iajuddin
also saw huge potential of developing
bilateral trade and economic cooperation
between Bangladesh and Ghana and expressed
the hope that the relations between the two
countries will grow further in the days to
come.
He said the people of Ghana could be
benefited by using Bangladeshi products,
particularly readymade garments, melamine
and pharmaceuticals goods.
He also underscored the need for frequent
exchanges of business and official
delegation between the two countries and
holding trade fairs to boost bilateral trade
and economic relation.
He requested envoy to put in his efforts for
increasing cooperation between Dhaka and
Accra and boosting the existing volume of
trade between the two countries.
The new ambassador of Ghana expressed his
satisfaction over the present relations
between Dhaka and Accra and hoped that the
relations would be strengthened further in
the days to come.
Jhon Bentum-Williams also praised
Bangladesh's role in the UN Peacekeeping
Mission and different international
platforms.
