The 4th annual report of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC) for the year 2007 was submitted to President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban here today.

Chairman of the commission Justice MM Ruhul Amin submitted the report to the President, while seven members of the commission were present.

The members of the commission briefed the President about various aspects of the annual report.
 

They apprised the President of the process of selection and appointment to the post of assistant judges, the entry point of joining the judicial service.

They said the commission has almost finalized selection of 394 candidates for the post of assistant judges through Judicial Service Examinations.

Besides, the commission has given appointment to 30 vacant posts of third class and fourth class employees at its
secretariat during the year.

Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohd Aminul Karim, Secretary Md Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary Abdul Awal Howlader were present.
