Chief Justice calls on Iajuddin

Chief Justice MM Ruhul Amin today paid a curtsey call on President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban here.

During the meeting the Chief Justice sought cooperation of the President in discharging his duties and obligations properly.

He also hoped that he would be able to satisfy the aspirations of the people by upholding justice and building the confidence of the country's people in judiciary further through cooperation from all concerned.

The President described the judiciary as the last resort to ensuring justice and laid emphasis on increasing people's confidence in the country's judiciary.

He also underscored the need for disposing the huge pending cases at different level of courts in the country for ensuring justice.

Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohd Aminul Karim, Secretary of the President's Office Md Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary to the President Abdul Awal Howlader were present.
