President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed expressed his heartiest greeting to all particularly the Muslim Ummah and the countrymen on the occasion of holy Eid-e- Miladunnabi.

In a message on the occasion of the holy day here today, he also sought peace, prosperity, welfare and progress of the Muslim Ummah.

Describing the emerging of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM) as an extraordinary and unforgettable event in the history of human civilization, he said great Allah Rabbul-al-Amin as His immense kindness and grace sent Mohammad (SM) to the earth as the guide of mankind.

Professor Iajuddin said the ideology, Mohammad (SM) left for the total welfare and liberty of human being side by side of preaching monotheism of Allah, inspired world inhabitants with truth and beauty for ages. 
 
 "Islam, the religion preached by him, is the best ideology for ensuring total welfare of the human being," he added. 
  He also prayed to Allah for granting us spirit to follow perfectly the ideology of the great prophet (SM).
