The visiting 16-member delegation of Pakistan National Defence University (NDU) called on President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban today.

During the meeting, members of the team, led by Major General Muhammad Tariq Massod, apprised the President of the different activities of the university.

They also informed the President about various aspects of the defence cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan, particularly in the field of training.

Professor Iajuddin gave a patient hearing to the delegation and expressed his satisfaction at the existing warm, cordial and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan in various fields.

He also thanked the Pakistan government for extending their cooperation to Bangladesh in defence sector.

Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohd Aminul Karim, Secretary of the President's Office Md Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary to the President Abdul Awal Howlader were present.
